This isn't really out-of-character. Revy is pretty tsundere for Rock in the series, and it's not hard to picture her as a sub beneath her tough exterior. Rock is increasingly sociopathic while keeping some semblance of morality, too, so it's not hard to picture him dominating Revy like this.
