Regardless of whether or not ConTL is translating it, are you basically saying that you're relying on people randomly doing it for free and leeching off of their work for your own enjoyment because you never planned to pay for a proper translation?

If people hate MTL works so vocally, they should probably put money where their mouth is and pay translators to translate things rather than expect things to drop from the heavens for free. Other than that, it's just pointless bitching.

This doesn't mean anything and is just bitching: "If anything, you just made sure it will never be properly translated."

From your first comment ("you just made sure it will never be properly translated"), it more or less means you weren't going to do jack shit with this work anyways and that you were making assumptions that no one's going to touch it because some MTL'er "tainted" the work.

If you can read Japanese already, then why do you care whether or not it gets translated? Do you have a stake in it then? Are you going to translate the whole thing yourself? Are you going to wait for ConTL to do it? If ConTL is doing it, then they just proved your first comment wrong, because someone's translating it (whatever their reason is). Or are you just projecting out of annoyance and being hyperbolic? You and everyone else who complain about "Omg! Translators won't touch it now!!!" are being a bit childish.

If you can't compete, then may as well just let the MTL'ers steamroll you in the field of supply and demand. If you can't supply the demand, then someone else will using cheap goods. It's simple economics.
