I have been waiting over 5 years and I don't think anyone will ever do a legitimate one so at this point I am willing to accept MTL versions.

I don’t see the issue with the usage of MTL but since it’s a tool that is available to anyone, why bother uploading it? If people want to MTL something, they easily can on their own without sharing.

If it’s not at bare minimum an edited(corrected) MTL version, it brings no value to this website’s archive.

@cuck6666 Japanese is very contextually driven, which isn't addressed in MTL. Also, MTL rarely ever picks up idioms, slurred speech, ateji etc...
A large majority of MTLs are "translated" by ESLs and/or individuals with a middling grasp of English and no grasp of Japanese, which isn't conducive to clear narration, either.
I won't lie, I do honestly believe that Human translators will go the way of the Dodo, even with hard to MTL langauges like Japanese and Chinese, but at the current moment it's simply too unreliable beyond personal use for VNs.
