tbh, she was... I don't know why you would say "he got broken when he found out the true nature of his wife" - there's never been any indication in any of the chapters that that's the case - he's been a massive deviant, borderline psychopath all this time, broken all along. He BROKE his wife because he wanted a whore, I thought that much was very clear from pages 23/24 of this gallery - the husband quicky grew to not desire her shortly after getting married and instead of just splitting up he wanted to turn her into his "ideal 30 year old self-deprecating whore". I'm not gonna pretend she's some saint, but it's very clear she never cheated on him till she asked her to, he colluded with the advisors to keep making her sink lower, and blueballed her himself so that she would go to them. So it was definitely not a situation of "he noticed shes a cheating slut and gave up on her" - their dynamics were very explicit across all chapters. Hell, his entire endgame was to have her so broken and taking part of these orgies so that he could come in and participate himself, not because he loved her, but because he was just fucked up and pathetic like that. If she hadn't gotten saved by Saku and abandoned that life, he would STILL have been doing it to her (After the "party" he tells Thoma to call him again for the next one), and as it turns out he did continue to partake in those - as his new wife found out.

In fact, i don't even think it's right to label the husband as cuck or this work as netorare (not even netorase). The guy had literally 0 interest or feelings towards her, the author tries to show that with the scenes of him watching her with the advisors - guy's just eating his dinner completely unfazed like an actual psychopath. He wasn't getting any pleasure or tickling his pickle from watching his "wife" with other guys - he was just checking up on the progress of her corruption.
