I hear you and I know I'm only focusing on one artist out of a sea of them but if vanilla swapping is so unpopular, why is there such a substantial drop off in sales for Dorichin? His two most popular releases were the first 2 chapters of his breakout series and ever since then each release has continued the dropoff in sales, both on DLSite and on Fanza, that compared to the original ones, he has lost about 85-90% of his initial customers. While not as drastic, that 3rd chapter where he ripped off the veil of vanilla swapping and went full blown NTR still sold relatively well, still saw a dropoff of 20-25% in sales when compared to the two prior chapters.

I don't doubt that the overall NTR customer base is a vaster sea to cater to but I would also suggest that its oversaturated whereas the niche vanilla swapping customer base is underserved and ripe for being targeted by some willing artist hence why all of us bemoaning about feeling betrayed yet again in the comments. We are here, we may be fewer in numbers but we are here and still awaiting salvation of some damn good vanilla swapping.
