I don’t know that this gallery deserves the snuff tag. It doesn’t explicitly say that the woman is dead, and the final panel seems inconclusive one way or the other.

Hagrid's mom was the giant. His dad was a race smaller than humans which is why he's even smaller than the other half-giant that we see in the book.
