Honestly, what breaks my suspension of disbelief here is that Gomez Addams wasn't in on the whole cheating thing to make it a semi-wholesome cuckolding thing.
Because the Addams Family are weird and freaky like that.
to say nothing about how this implies that they don't have some tonics or another for Gomez to personally satisfy Morticia's, in comic at least, size queen nature on hand either.

I don't even know the source mateiral that well and even I know that Gomez and Morticia are tooth rottenly deep in love with each other to that point that if there are outside partners it'd be because they have an open marriage or similar situation rather than... well this.
