Not going to lie, my enthusiasm dipped once it was revealed that they're faking being broken, up until then it was being a very good BDSM story, like the mom turning on her daughter because she's been broken and dominated to the point of waiting sexual release at the hands of mistress, that's insanely hot, them betraying their friend resulting in her also becoming a slave, hell yeah, but nope, over 170 pages of build up meant nothing, they can't be broken because they're just that gud and special, I guess. I truly hate this kind of switchero, because it's not only the villain being deceived but the reader too. Then it derailed into the convoluted Saudi prince stuff that I don't give a shit about, this comic didn't even need that element, the mistress/slaves dynamic was enough (a real one not a fake one).

You'd think this being in separate universe would lend this more freedom to explore that kind of evil outcomes, why even place this in another universe if it's just going to be the same old Carey shenanigans where nothing that happens is of any real consequence to the main characters? Not only that but the new interesting villainess it introduces is completely wasted by the end. Everything ends practically in the same place it started, boring. Anyway, thanks for the upload, I whine but it's appreciated regardless.

Reading other comments proves that tastes differ, and that is okay. I personally could not love the plot twist more. I was bored out of my mind when Carey acted like a braindead zombie. I seriously dislike the "broken sextoy" trope, especially with some magical-scientific mindbreak drug. It is unrealistic and I also wonder why one would not simply get a sex doll instead... but again, tastes can differ.

On top of this it does not fit Carey's character at all to be like this. I think Carey is at her best when she is like in this comic - a skilled and intelligent woman but also hyper-sexualized, insane and a masochistic danger whore. She gets herself into dangerous, potentially deadly, situations because she gets off on it. She willingly accepts the risk of serious injury or death in her stunts because it excites her sexually. She provokes powerful people to make herself enemies because of the thrill of being potentially abducted or killed. She always declines any form of police protection when she is threatened, or safety protocols for her stunts, because that would reduce the danger. And the more bondage, sex, asphyxia and BDSM are involved the more she likes it. So it is fully in character for Carey to actively stop all escape attempts just so she can keep being an actual sex slave and enjoy being abused and tortured - including all dangers that come with it. The depravity of Carey to force her daughter into the same situation is just the cherry on top.

Cassie's character could be a bit more developed though, after reading the comic I still do not know who this person is. Did she actually enjoy her time there? Instead of the Saudi stuff I would have loved to see Cassie give Carey hell for what she did to her. Not nessecarily killing her, but maybe put her into some very heavy BDSM stuff or force her into extremely difficult escape challenges as a form of revenge. The Lily character on the other hand is great. What an annoying smartass bratty bitch, she is perfect both as a villain and as a tied-up sub.

The rest of the comic is good. The story is coherent from start to finish. Although I agree that the Saudi Arabia part was somehow needlessly tagged on and does not contribute a lot. At least we got a good near-death choking/hanging scene out of it. I am sure Carey enjoyed it.

The artstyle gets better and better. Artdude finally found the perfect balance of making the characters look realistic but still sexy (for my taste). They have dedicated human features and don't look like dolls anymore like in his early comics. But they also don't look actively uncanny/ugly like during "that" phase... Carey, Cassie, Kate and Lily are all hot but still unique. Really really good stuff. That is obviously very important. The characters, sex scenes, BDSM scenes are all simply incredibly good.

As Carrey Carter Comic go, now the author is dwell more into the story, and less into the peril or escapology. Which sadly get more and more deep into the development of Janus City politics. Good for plot but kinda distracting from the erotic side.
