Can anyone tell me why galleries like this are being downvoted? I can't seem to find any information on it.

I can't speak for everyone, but I believe it's because themes like dickgirls, furry, yaoi, scat, guro, etc. are not very popular. Not in the it's just not my fetish sense, but more in the gross, get that shit out of my face sense. Heck, the scat and guro tags even have an offensive content warning page whenever you click on those galleries.

Obviously there would be people who exclude these tags from their view to avoid such galleries. But it obviously only works when the galleries are tagged in the first place. If the uploader doesn't tag their galleries appropriately, someone else has to, and if that someone else just happens to be one of those people, you probably get another 0.5 star rating.

Long story short: tag your shit properly, especially if you're going to upload unpopular stuff.

But that's just my two-cents. I personally don't rate such galleries. I just add the tags and move on. But maybe they just don't know which tags to use or how the tagging system works, so they use the rating system instead, who knows?

Also dickgirls and futanari are very popular, I have the impression that artist galeries and image sets gets more downvotes due to the sheer amount of duplication, that's my 2 cents

@Hans_Meiser You're giving me too me much credit by assuming i Don't understand how the tagging system works.

I'm well aware how it works but just forget to start tagging after an hour or two of getting the gallery they way i want it to be.

My brain is too focused on sharing what i like that no one else shared yet and i forget the last important part of the process.

I'll admit it's bad habbit that should probably work on for the future.

@TensaiUnmei, you misunderstand. I wasn't accusing you of anything. I was referring to the people who rate galleries badly based on the tags it has or should have. I'm sure a good number of them don't know they can just filter these tags and add them to the gallery, which is infinitely more useful than giving a bad rating.
