Humans are not really considered "pure" like elves, and unlike elves, humans are not born with strong magic, they need to train for years to achieve what young elves could do normally.
If having magical powers were somehow tied to virginity or celibacy for humans, you could have a cool plot of Claudia degenerating into a cock hungry succubus that needs constant sex to keep her powers by stealing the life force of others. But humans here are just ordinary while elves are the special chosen ones.
