Bit of context/untranslatable amusement, the Kanji the ghost spells out on page 32 are 定子, whose second character is the ko that is part of many japanese female given names, while the other Kanji can be read as "tei", which I would assume the nickname T to stem from. However, in a female given name, 定 can be read as "sada", which would make her name Sadako, but spelled with a different Kanji than the character from The Ring, who is instead spelled 貞子.
