I don't know why Bastien Vivès gets movie and animated tv adaptations of his work in light of his shoddy art, stale writing and propensity for needless drama and controversy. I'll read his work for free on a piracy website. But, out of all of the talented French writers and artists out there, why has he been selected for mainstream success. I'm not mad. I just find it baffling.
