it's not a translation if you don't know what it's saying. DeepL is not good. Google translate is better but not by much.

If you want to test to see how wrong DeepL and Google translate is, grab a japanese novel that has an official translation. Then find the raws for it. Run the raws in google translate or DeepL and you'll see the translation is very off. ChatGPT is closer to the official translation, but it's still off.

Proprietary AI like chatgpt does not translate NSFW content so you can't use it to translate hentai. So you are forced to do local translation with LLM, but only large models with sizes around 70B work. I currently use Evathene 70B with four Geforce RTX 3090s GPUs to do Ai translation for the japanese games I play since they're more accurate than google translate. Coincidentally, I also have an AI auto-translator and AI auto-typesetter set up, and ran this same doujinshi for it. However, I'd never upload it since there's too much AI/MTL trash out there.

But I will be honest here. A sufficiently smart LLM or chatgpt is getting very close for decent translations. And due to how easy it is (I can use AI to auto-translate/typeset a doujin in 30 mins with my setup), I expect more MTL stuff is going to pop up soon.
