Sort of a retelling of part of One Human Being, with a Born Sexy Yesterday trope, but a rehash/reboot/cover version from Sindy beats so many others' originals.
It's a short list of authors that offers sexiness, empathy, and humor in such a nice mix.
It has some common elements with Captain Terdy, by Hollis Chester.

UM, it might be a clone related to the sister from Lithium, but the tech feels like it predates being able to fly your car to a moon moon...?
