I'm not going to start translating a 3 part series that has 40 pages each!
That's way too much time and effort!
However, I quite like the series, and will clean the other 2 parts.

Totally fine that you won’t translate it! Cleaned versions are also good because then you can make your own story <3.

This is AWESOME. How did you scrub those semi-transparent bubbles and giant SFX so perfectly? I do translation stuff too and this level of cleanup always wrecks me. Any chance you'd share your magic tools/workflow?

@跳投命中. I use GIMP for my cleans.

Cleaning Ura Macoto works is a unique affair, as their works are just a few alts with dialogue and SFX sprinkled on it. So by layering and aligning several pictures over one another, you can get a 'master' clean, i.e., a clean without any speech bubbles and SFX. After creating this clean, you can use it to get rid of any SFX from the remaining pictures.

The transparent bubbles are a little more finicky.

By erasing the Japanese text in the bubbles with the master clean layered and aligned below, you can use the wand tool to select the area you just erased. Then, after selecting the lower layer and growing your selection so that it exceeds the area you just erased, adjust the brightness so that the lower layer matches the colour of the upper layer.

This stuff just takes time. Otherwise, there is this pretty neat auto cleaner that is totally free to use called SickZil-Machine: https://github.com/KUR-creative/SickZil-Machine

I use this when there is no hope of me being able to complete a clean.
