Acquired from M, this is a copy book of the actual storyboards used in the creation of the infamous Daicon IV opening animation. These boards were shown at a recent exhibition, though the originals of course have (at least to my knowledge) never gone to auction. M was present at the event and has sold me a variety of books from General Products proper, though as he claims, these were sold as copies xeroxed from the originals. Lots of thematic changes happen in the intro of the film that were cut out so it seems with some smaller changes noted, though I'm happy to present them in a cleaner manner vs some that have been floating about.
This is an iconic animation and one that is, in every sense of the word, covetable in regards to its production history and more. I will be sharing additional materials in the coming weeks when they arrive by courier.

Additional context:
This is more than likely a copy book of a copy book. Unlike the actual E-konte Shu booklet, this was stapled at the upper left vs being bound traditionally or with two staples. More than likely, this was given out to fan clubs and or was personally copied by someone else. M told me that he had it on hand and that several were done in similar manners/passed about liberally by fans. Give or take, this book uses an alternative cover that is a bit different than others I've seen, only marginally, showing that is was perhaps 'cut' and photo copied. Copy books were and are still common for those who wish to simply share vs buying the actual physical media. When asked, M stated that these books were often studied by animators and fan artists alike for doujinshi.

Compare with the scan on archive.org: https://archive.org/details/Daicon4Ekonte
Based on the archive.org scan, I think the originals are whole sheets bound with four staples. The fan copies are folded and saddle stiched (two staples in the fold) common to fanzines.
This is a copy book of the latter it seems, there were not saddle stitched/stapled, only one in the top. If so, its missing the back cover from some others. I'm archiving as found.
