with how vain the woman is, and how often she uses the dragon balls to make cosmetic wishs... why does she not just wish to be a Saiyan, or for eternal youth? that way she remain as beautiful as she wants for as long as she wants. and if she becomes a saiyan? she could finally understand and keep up with Vegeta. even better? he might be more inclined to spend time with her.

something tells me the site of Bulma as a saiyan with a tail? is likely to rev Vegeta's engines from zero to "MUST BREED!" in less then 5 seconds.

saiyans are very stupid. bulma is the smartest human alive and capable of creating super science casually.

for an incomplete list of her achievements:
> at 5 year old xenos crash land and don't know what to do. she cobbles together a laser gun to subdue them. then reverse engineers their ship and fixes it in a few hours.
> reverse engineers saiyan pods to get FTL. upgrades it to be better. builds a huge luxurious space ship equipped with it and gravity training room
> goku dies from heart virus and the androids ruin humanity. bulma studies alien biology enough to invent a supremely effective cure for the virus. Then invents a time machine to deliver said cure back in time to save goku.

Bulma is simply too smart to destroy her own genius mind.
As for why she does not wish for eternal youth... who knows.
