@GenerationKamenRider I think some artists do some of that, hence the "mind break" tag. Just not years in the future like what MaxwellCoffee is describing. Not even most safe for work stories show years in the future really. If I had to guess, there's probably not even much demand? If you get off to making the girl broken, then there's stuff that gets straight to the point. Setting it up for years later is not just more work in the writing part, but also requires an overhaul of the character's designs to show the changes. In other words, it's a lot of work to take a harder route to do something that could be done more easily. Plus it usually changes the main female character to look too different from what I bought or clicked on the book for IMO.
