From my understanding, Sora actually is upset with Futaba for dragging Miu and Kaede into her mess. She thinks Futaba started philandering with them after being with her, when it was actually the reverse. I assume Sora is genuinely concerned about Miu and Kaede, though I think it's totally fair for someone to see an alternative, unspoken, or unconcious secondary selfish desire by Sora to be the sole focus of Futaba in both a romantic and sexual manner. Sora's thoughts trended in that direction during prior sex scenes, so it seems like a completely valid assumption even though Sora may not have come to terms with this explicitly or verbalized it to Futaba (You could say that's happening here: "If you said you loved me then why are you with them?"). Futaba seems to explain that her body gives her uncontrollable desires that cause her to act in this way (dodging responsibility like a champ) and says she thinks she'd be better off dead, which leads Sora to slap and reprimand her for her careless words, professing how much she cares for Futaba (presumably meant in a sisterly way here).

That being said, from my read, this is very much NOT a situation where the use of force by Futaba turned out unnecessary because Sora actually wanted it in the end (again, at least not overtly or verbally). Sora clearly states the exact opposite to Futaba throughout, in fact. Sora first demands a return to a normal relationship for her, Miu and Kaede, and for Futaba to control herself. Sora threatens to expose everything to their parents if Futaba doesn't listen to her, and... in a last ditch effort to get what she wants before everything implodes, Futaba resorts to raping Sora... It's not treated in any fashion like Futaba being pushy and then Sora begrudgingly aquiescing, or like Sora intended for this (the underwear) and is internally happy about it. She begs Futaba to stop, calls her a selfish, dispicable, horrible person, actively points out the criminality of Futaba's actions, states that she will never forgive her for doing this, and demands that she stop immediately multiple times. In response, Futaba completely ignores her pleading and simply relishes in everything at Sora's expense. Futaba uses Sora wearing the underwear to justify raping her, running with the assumption that Sora wore it, so she must have wanted this to happen. In addition to this, Futaba uses Sora's past sexual exerpiences with her as leverage, highlighting how much Sora seemed to desire her then and how desperately she wanted to keep her moans quiet so no one found out about them. In that same vein of secrecy, Futaba says that if Sora wants her to pull out, she needs to promise that she won't tell their parents about everything that Futaba's done. Sora agrees to this almost immediately begging for her to stop, but even after Futaba was able to successfully squeeze this concession out of Sora, she decides that it isn't quite enough. To leave Miu and Kaede alone, Futaba demands that Sora officially break things off with Takahashi. Sora pleads with her, saying that it's one thing she just can't do... And so, Futaba states that she then has no other option and carries on raping her. The scene ends with Sora desperately begging Futaba to pull out because today is a dangerous day for her. And we cut to Futaba on her bed looking absolutely distraught.

Suffice to say, I think this chapter confirms that we're taking the darker route lol. Which hey, that could be quite interesting in its own right. Will it be more of a dramatic spiraling interpersonal relationships being ruined forever and the more realistic consequences of her actions? Or will it instead be Futaba, again, taking the "nothing to lose but everything to gain" approach that we saw in this chapter and just going for it? I hope it's the latter personally, because I want Futaba to lose all of her inhabitions around Sora, and actively show off her darker more possessive, selfish, and dominant side. Have Futaba initially grapple with the weight and severity of her actions, feeling remorseful, before letting her succumb to her desires and really force an unwilling Sora under her thumb in the same fashion that she did to Miu initially. The creator really leant into the aesthetic with this and should continue to do so: Futaba coming home drunk in the rain after a party late into the night, with her hood pulled up looking dishoveled. Having Futaba grab Sora from behind to cover her mouth to prevent her from screaming for help... It really completes the image that we have of Futaba: a rapist who exploits the physical desires of her victims to get what she wants at all costs. Truely dispicible as Sora says.

Now, how will things play out moving forward? We know how this affected Futaba, but how is Sora doing? What is she thinking? What will she do? Something tells me that even through all of this, Sora will still keep things a secret for Futaba to protect everyone involved. So we have several options here: 1) They could slowly reconcile (somehow); 2) There could be a quiet period before Sora approaches Futaba against her better judgement out of a need to satiate a burning desire that she just can't control and only Futaba can fufill for her (physical desire reigning over her conciousness); 3) We could have them simply remain in a strained distant relationship until Sora eventually leaves to be with Takahashi, keeping Futaba's secret for her; 4) We could also potentially have a situation where Futaba exploits Sora's choice to keep her secret even after everything she's done by continuing to push the boundry. For instance, Futaba could end up simply not caring anymore now that she feels like Sora has seen her true colors and just choose to take Sora wherever and however she wants knowing that no matter how much of a scumbag she is, Sora will still keep her secret in the end, and believing that Sora must already hate her removing that as a limiting factor. This all assumes that Sora will remain silent, which hey, this could all end rather fast if she doesn't, bringing the story to a rather quick stop.

If I had to guess, it's going to be option 2 or 4. Option 2 because I think Sora's touched on the idea of sex being animalistic and basal a few times, and it might be interesting to mirror Futaba's "struggles" with her urges by having Sora go through the same thing. We've also had several moments where Sora expresses that she feels like she's giving way to her more base desires and how that conflicts with what she knows she should be doing. Even through she may feel guiltly about doing this behind Takahashi's back, she and Futaba would revel in it together anyways. Option 4 because we had a similar situation expressed in this chapter with Futaba saying she would stop if she had her demands met, only to continue anyway.

How ever it turns out, I'm extremely interested to see what happens next!
