Acquired from YHA some time ago, Rag House was the personal magazine of the mangaka and Aniparo artist Mari Hibiki, who's trail in the BL doujinshi scene began as early as 1977. Mari participated in several joint magazines and was in charge of the BL magazine/journal NORMAL and REX (it is not confirmed if they actively participated in REX's offshoot imprint, REX 2), whereas her later activities extended to publishing work in OUT, Animage, The Anime and My Anime until the mid 1980s.

By mid to late 1982, Mari established Rag House with her editor Doronko/Doronco (ドロンコ, a play on Doronjo), Rag House would include several well established parody artists as well as members who would participate in Cream Lemon, namely Ogata Satomi. Rag House is named after Rag from Combat Mecha Xabungle, a series that quickly became one of the groups' inspirations in later issues. The last Rag House volume appears to have been published sometime in 1985.

Participating artists also include the mangaka and illustrator JET, Kazuko Mizuki, Atsumi Hiramori, Akira Inugami and several others.
