UPDATE: Forgot the cut bag for provenance, its now at the end of the gallery.

Scanned as found with some additional cleaning. Acquired from a YJA listing, the seller stated that this was a doujinshi when its not. These setting documents are highly peculiar and were included in their original cut bag with several Cream Lemon settei and scenario information. The cut bag states that these settei were 'tentative', meaning that they were originally aimed to be used in Cream Lemon proper before being made into an OVA nearly 2 years later. Each document is signed, titled and dated at August 16th, 1984. It would seem that these are Yūji Moriyama (森山雄治)'s earliest designs and he leaves a note within the booklet itself:

"I was surprised, but before I knew what the future held, I thought it would be fun if there was an anime like this, so I made this book. I actually wanted to make a proper book with a proper story this time, so please forgive me. I would like to publish a more solid, full-fledged book for the next winter Comic Market. There were a lot of interesting settings that I drew that were scrapped this time, and there were also a lot of original illustrations I made, but... what a shame, a shame... Of course, I will still be drawing girls and male characters. (Oops, that's a dangerous thought.) Don't forget. There will also be manga about it. (I think) So, the whole staff is fired up, starting with the pervert Mr. Moriyama (huh?) and the mecha fetish Mr. XX (oops), so I'm sure we will have a luxurious book in the winter. Well, please look forward to the next one! All the W.I.C staff will be using these documents in the future."

Additional information/bylines:

"おくづけ
プロジェクトA子(仮) キャラクター設定集 ☆企画製作発行 WI W-I-C ☆発行年月日 '84-8-19"

This book was originally sold at Comiket 26 on August 19th. As Yūji mentioned another one possibly being sold at the winter Comiket of that same year, there may be another book or manga as noted that exists out there. Artists Takashi Akaishizawa (貴士赤石沢) and Katsuhiko Nishijima (西嶋勝彦) also participated in this book.

p22-29 is Star Trap, another Cream Lemon OAV.

It's not necessarily Moriyama Yuuji's designs. He's credited for character design on the movie, but I remember him saying in another book that someone else did the first draft character designs and then he was brought in to finish them, and he thought their version of C-ko was cuter than he could draw. This looks like the first draft.

@Necromusume Yes, it is Star Trap. There wasn't a namespace for it, so it wasn't added. All the same, they were included in the cut bag and possibly belonged to one of the members given the latter. The book says that he and the circle drafted them, so if its anyone else, its not implicitly noted. Maybe you can find that out for me and everyone else?

I don't see the name Moriyama Yuji anywhere in the text, just the group name WIC Staff. By 'somebody else', I meant somebody other than him, not somebody who wasn't a member of WIC Staff. It might have been in a book I have upstairs; I'll look when I have time.

I believe the Star Trap part is a separate thing, put together with the A-Ko doujin by coincidence. I have a physical copy of the doujin and it's a real beast, with oversized pages (A3 size?).
It is disappointing that most of the designs are present in the other doujin published in the Winter 1984 Comiket:

https://e-hentai.org/g/185145/d103cb6fe5/

According to some anime staff fansite, the (initial?) design of A-Ko was made 山内則康 (Yamauchi Noriyasu), B-Ko by Nishijima Katsuhiko and C-Ko by 福島喜晴 (Fukushima Yoshiharu)

Project A-Ko was a really obscure, erm, project until it was officially announced in the media around November 1985.

Its not really coincidental, I believe this is a version sold at Comiket but also used on actual production. The cut bag says 'tentative setting documents' and the interior mentions Comiket 26 in the intro.
