I think you've listened to my feedback, and this one shows better quality, but you're still not quite there.
Critiques I have (you may ignore these):
- Learn how to use inpaint ControlNet to remove the artist's signature. - Use the above method to address small inconsistencies, like the eyes. - The backgrounds remain inconsistent. Consider using ControlNet with 3D models of rooms, or apply background blur for consistency. - The concept is solid, but it lacks twists. A good structure might be false resolution: (they attempt something → it goes wrong → they believe it's fixed → it's actually still wrong → they finally fix it for good → conclusion). This approach suits a series format. - Control themes become interesting primarily through power dynamics, domination loss, experimentation, or playful exploration. Here, the main character needs clearer progression in understanding his ability. Changes so far are vague and open-ended. For example, the scene where she becomes his fan was too ambiguous. It would have been intriguing if she questioned why she's suddenly devoted to someone obscure with only 50–100 followers. - You might explore the main character growing bored with his power, leading him to experiment further in nonsexual ways. - Aim to deviate from the standard AI-generated appearance by combining different style LoRAs or even training a custom LoRA of your own.
Nevertheless, you've improved significantly. Good luck in your creative journey!
This series has potential to explore something rarely touched upon: have the main character manipulate someone to discover the notebook. Include scenes showing the manipulated character gradually uncovering the notebook. The final line could read something like: "And once she finished reading, she became a loyal assistant to xxxx, using the notebook only when permitted by xxxx."
@ Watashi No Namae: Yup, that would be funny. Very short story, but funny :)
@Absent Bishop: Nah, I can't really take credit for this one being more to your taste. It just happens that the model I used for this one generates more anime-like stuff :) Personally, I actually dig the standard AI graphics. (Mix of anime with realistic/3D I guess?). Maybe my taste here is strange :). However, the anime style was appreciated quite a lot, so I'll try to get back to it from time to time :)
Your graphical advice is sound but it looks like it takes up a lot of time (Especially the 3D Model approach and training own LoRAs)... I do not have the time for that as I'm taking a quantity-over-quality approach here, creating 9 comic chapters each month. Though I guess I could use aDetailer for eye color consistency :)
I disagree with this statement: "Control themes become interesting primarily through power dynamics". If you are into control (or a certain method of control) you may also indulge in a pure power-trip-themed story, which this one is supposed to be. :) Especially with a wide range of power like "reality rewriting" there are so many targets (and ways to control them) to be explored that it should not get too repetitive by just following our protagonist around as he uses the notebook ;). Also, usually, my audience decides against a change in power dynamics whenever I ask them ;)
But of course, I can also entertain more complex stories. In fact, I have several very twisty stories. Been there, done that :). But I only post a fraction of what I do freely as I'm doing this for a living ;)
