I think the author may have gotten their research wrong about Akutaru, the Indian student.

Halal are Islamic Dietary laws similar to Jewish Kosher laws where certain food are permissible to eat and prepared according to Islamic laws like how the animals are slaughter for their meat. While the author got it right about Pork is not halal, the Cow part is wrong since beef is permissible to eat by Muslims and they may have mixed it up with Hindus who don't eat beef as they consider Cows as Sacred animals.

I wonder the confusion comes from some Hindus in India who prefer to follow a full Vegetarian diet and not eat any kind of meat even animals they can eat like pigs since the latter has a stigma as a dirty animal. Or Akutaru is a child of intermarriage between a Muslim and Hindu (which does happen in India in the past but currently face opposition by Hindu hardliners) and follows her parents religion and dietary laws of not eating Pork and Beef.

I'm really enjoying this series. Hope we get the next parts with the haughty girl who was badmouthing him and the quiet one who was hiding in the back on that one page. I love the plump curvy ladies they usually draw, but this is a nice change of pace. Especially as it's a type very rarely seen in doujins.
Shame the author clearly could be bothered doing the research on customs and seems to just lump everything he remembered about that part of the world together. Looks hindu, but seems to have a diet that a fusian of hindu, muslim and possibly hebrew? In any case, it's just porn.

its fine if he wants to do other works but what i dont like is that the auhor seems to get bored and just abandon other ongoing projects like the elf one from way back in the day that still doesnt seem to have a proper ending, and the recent one where the kid is allowed to fuck any of the girls because it turns out hes from a rich family that one had a a hot female butler that got no action and now it looks like it wont continue. this author has another problem if the works go on too long like the sister one where it just ends abruptly with them broken and then the author tried to do some half assed thing where the cuck seems to be douche now. meh. oh and I just recalled he did a spin off with one of the sisters where she is a college town bike and the kid who was fucking them from the main series is just gone which sucks.
