A longer Nakani work under a different group, and with a seemingly darker tone.

Still has the feverish dreamlike quality Nakani's works usually have, but it was used for a good half of the story to build the mystery.

It wraps up neatly, but I wonder who the relatives were referring to when they said "that person" on page 8.

*spoiler ahead*

@Cadavrus i believe they are referring to the older sister that died, saying the younger sister looks like her older sister, aka "that person"

First of all, this is pure literature. Yet the sex scenes are hot, too. What the hell, this is so good. I gotta check this authors works, thanks so much for this release.
The story is quite convoluted, or at least the dreamlike air makes it hard for me to understand.

If I got it correctly, this is the story, I'll be happy for corrections and opinions since it's quite intriguing:

The Akazaki family had three siblings: Touka, Souta, and Saaya. The whole family is enormous and is an old, well-off traditional family with relative gatherings and such.
Touka was a genius in several fields (?), from painting to design to performance. She made it big, really big.
Souta was very close with his elder sister (Touka), to the point of obsession. But it seems like pretty much everybody was enchanted with her.

At some point, Touka, having been living far away (maybe America? The skyline in her apartment looked Northern American rather than Japanese, though it's hard to tell), died.
It was a shock to everyone, but especially so to Souta.

Jump to the present, and basically, Souta regularly visits Touka's grave and always has dreams about her afterwards. It is clear that he is full of unresolved feelings and regrets.
After one such grave visit he has the most delirious series of dreams yet, to the point of him even commenting on how absurdly unreal this all is.
The dreams are Touka coming to visit him and then them developing a romantic relationship.

Souta, concluding that he's either gone a bit bonkers and/or that it's a spirit (?) of his nee-chan that came to him to kind of do the stuff they wanted to do for him to finally let go of her.
That part has them going on dates in the city and then traveling together to their hometown.
To me, it all felt Fight Club-like, with Souta actually going around alone.

Then the story basically reveals that Touka is actually the youngest sibling, Souta's sister Saaya, who was actually present during all events in the past and who was taken care of by Souta and Touka too.
But Souta basically only thought of Touka, so he forgor Saaya existed wwwww

And that's where I am lost since I can't understand: did Souta know all this time that he wasn't dreaming and that it was Saaya all along? If not, when, if ever, did he realise?
Did Saaya ever love Souta or did she just went crazy over her loss and 'became' Touka, along with Touka's love (?) for Souta?
If Souta understood that it was Saaya, why did he talk of hell and such, and why did he act until the last moment like she's gonna disappear?
And lastly, if Souta and Saaya are really siblings, are they hiding their relationship? The end shows them basically being a married couple.

@Cadavrus
They probably meant that Saaya was looking like Touka? Though at the beginning, I was thinking that it's the mother who passed away and Souta is substituting with his sister who looks like the mother lmaoo

@MrGelar Souta said that Saaya already loved him so the lines that she was saying while pretending to be Touka felt off, so he had suspicion but made the gamble to reveal it at the temple, if he was wrong then he would felt like he would be cursed or spirited away. Also, you shouldn't put too much weight on some of the internal logic on incest, it's Nakani after all.

Interesting. Looking at my summary from the raw version, I was mostly right on the dot in terms of what happened in the story. The only added context would be Saya roleplaying as Touka from the start because she was following the story left by Touka in her dairy after she died and the MC (Sato) didn't realize this until pg 247 thinking in the beginning he was either hallucinating/dreaming his dead older sister due to his unresolved feelings for her due to her death. Cool story, this goes way above jack-off material

Absolutely amazing. Great story and really hot, raw sex. I love Nakani's nipple style, they're like huge delicious plugs waiting to be nibbled on.

@orangedew that's what I assumed as well, but the first section of page 8 (presumably) shows Touka helping out around the household at the same time.

@MrGelar Could be. I also thought they were referring to the mother, but we don't really get any details on her at all... since they refer to her as "that person" she might not have been liked in the household.

@Cadavrus @MrGelar On page 15 she mentions he looks like her uncle (rather than dad). So perhaps they aren't actually siblings but rather cousins. The mention of "that person" might refer to touka's mother, so perhaps she died and now souta's family is taking care of her kids. It would also explain why the ending works if saya was his cousin which you can legally marry in Japan.

Nakani is the saviour of the sister tag only artist who captures that it would be weird and dramatic and that you'd need to somewhat insane to do it. It being fucking your sibling.

I read for the cover in other site because i like cool girls, and i have been crying for 3 days, i lost my Sister because cancer and man this hurts so bad. In the end we tried to write her last words like in this masterpiece. I regreat a lot the messages i didnt reply and the times i was rude with her, It's horrible to see all the changes from the first symptoms until they can't even speak or breathe on their own it is a fucking depression, please value your loved ones and their and your lives, do not work so hard and make free time for yourself and your loved ones because terminal illnesses can appear suddenly and in very advanced stages

background composition is a 10/10, but the entire thing drags on for too long and ruins the pacing, the eccentric non verbal communication in lewd scenes so unique to Nakani's style does not contribute that much to the experience as the fans would have you believe. Overall, I prefer Nakani's older works. The new ones feel like they don't know whether to be porn or an actual story.

@epicderp1337 I think Souta is part of branch family.

I think the beauty of the story is that Touka wrote a diary after terminal diagnose, depicting as if those are her desire, but actually for her beloved sister. Both sisters are probably love Souta as they grew up together. So the whole story is just about how Touka's plan for her beloved sister's happiness flourished. Souta realized it first, then Saaya. Saaya actually think she is doing it for Souta's happiness by playing Touka's role for her to move on, but the actual thing that happened is herself being fulfilled and got her happy ending as her reward for loyalty toward her older sister.

Wow, I wasn't expecting something like this from Nakani! Usually his stuff is totally zany, but this had some real depth to it. The sense of unreality and melancholy reminds me of some of the stories from this tankoubon: https://e-hentai.org/g/2364302/0434e9ba27/

Seems the other translation has some minor differences. I wonder which is more accurate.

This is beyond doubt a work of great mastery and humanity, combining the written word and beauty of the visual with a touching and moving story.

Japan continues to amaze and astound, in the creativity nurtured by a culture that is very layered, and inward locked up. Yet such great flowering of skill and love. in allways. Compared to Japan the West and the other parts of the world seem very clumby with the joyful gift of being human.

well done author-san, well done.
