Dancer Recruitment

========================================================================

Jasari was happy to be in a city again. As much fun as her expedition with a caravan of archaeologists had been, it was time to get away from the sands. She placed her hands on her hips, looking over the small city before her. Quickly, she made a list of errands to run before she found a place to stay the night. First and foremost was to bathe, and a private bath at that. Jasari didn't have time for the pervy stares of strangers. Not today, at least. She also have to pay for her clothing to be washed and dried while she bathed, that wouldn't be too much. From there, she'd move on to the bazaar; selling some magical trinkets that she could not make use of. It took a great deal of convincing to get the archaeologists to let her keep some of the treasures found in the area they unearthed. They certainly did not have the proper mindset for adventuring! Loot was loot, and mages have bills to pay, too.

Following a well needed soak, and a few hours of heated bartering, the half-genie mage let out a sigh of relief, feeling accomplished as the sun slowly transformed the sky above into the shade of a grapefruit's innards. It was then that she felt her stomach growl. Had she forgotten to eat? Jasari grimaced, finding a post for support as her body complained once more at her neglect. She chuckled, placing a hand on her midriff. "Alright, alright, I hear you. Let's see..." Squinting to block out the fiery sunset and making her way to a shaded area. After a few minutes of wandering, and asking a few strangers, she found what was said to be one of the better taverns around, the "Twilight Respite."

Taking a step inside, Jasari scanned the inside of the tavern. It was dimly lit, but not in a dingy way, more of a atmospheric choice. Throughout the space were colorful lanterns, and many strips of colorful cloth forming makeshift curtains. She felt her muscles relaxing as the gentle, steady tempo of the music in the space reached her ears. She smiled slightly, and closed her eyes for just a moment. "Enjoying the music?" an upbeat, preppy voice asked, removing Jasari from her reverie.

Standing before the startled half-genie was a lovely young woman, human by the looks of it. Her skin was near to perfect, most of it hardly concealed by the skimpy pink top and matching waistcloth. Her warm, brown eyes bubbled with laughter, and went well with her smile. Her golden blonde hair was tied into twin ponytails that hang well below her waist. To say Jasari was caught off-guard was an understatement. The girl continued to speak. "I'm Lucy, one of the dancers here! Welcome to the Twilight Respite. What brings you in?"

With her father having been a merchant, and her mother's genie heritage, Jasari had always had a natural charm about her and a knack for forming good first impressions. She put on her best winning smile, and met the eyes of the dancer who had just greeted her. "Hi! I'm Jasari, I just got into town, and I was looking for a meal, and probably a room for tonight while I figure out my next step."

"Oh, an adventurer? How exciting! I've done a little bit of that in my time." Lucy replies, sweetly. She guides Jasari to a small table, and promises to pass her order on tot he cook at the bar. Once by herself, Jasari opened her bags, pulling out her personal journal and making a few notes before putting it away. After some more rummaging, and taking note of a few magical components she was short on, she jotted down a list for shopping before she headed out of town again. The ruins she visited were thankfully lacking traps or vengeful guardians, so her restorative potions were still fully stocked. Her spellbook was still in good condition, and had plenty of pages left for her to fill. She sighed, latching up her bag, and watching with hunger as the cook, a stout halfling carrying the tray over his head, approached. With a bow and a flourish, he left her to her meal.

Dignity briefly left Jasari as she carved into the fresh, steaming white chicken breast, making greedy noises of approval, her empty stomach soon sated. It was a slow night, not a lot of patrons were in, which explains how quickly she was greeted at the door. She finishes the last of the wine that was brought out with her meal. It had an aftertaste, but it was subtle, and left behind a pleasant tingle on her tongue. Perhaps it was a regional flavoring.

Lights suddenly come to life, illuminating a stage. Lucy, the dancer from before, and another girl, dressed in greens and whites with rich, coppery red hair. The two began to dance, guided by the sensual beat. Together, they twirl, leap and shimmy about. Jasari slowly stands, drawn in by the artful dancing taking place. She leaned against a column. Before becoming a mage, Jasari had spent a few years learning the art of belly dancing. It was a hobby her mother enjoyed, and an art form that Jasari had become very passionate about herself. She considered asking them if she could get up with them, (she did have her dancing attire on hand, after all) but remembered how long her day had been. Bed was the wiser choice. She would watch them till the set finished, and they she would retire to her room.

The longer she watched, the more she enjoyed it. The swaying of hips was like a pendulum, keeping in steady time to the beat, interrupted by the occasional twirl, shimmy, or roll. Jasari had to catch her own hips a few times, her body acquainted with the feeling of surrendering to the rhythm. It was then that music ended, and the applause from the small group of patrons shook Jasari from her trance. Lucy was jogging over to her. "Hey! I hope you liked out performance."

"Oh, I really liked it! You girls did so good. Who's your partner?"

"Ah, that's Orihime. She hasn't been here quite as long as I have, but she is really getting into the swing of things! Anyways, I came over, because you look a little tired. Do you need a seat?"

"I was actually about to make my way up to my room..."

"Already? It's far to early for that! Tell you what, Orihime has another song, but I'm not going up for a bit, so, let's sit and talk! I love hearing adventuring stories!"

Caught in the charm of the place, and the charm of the lovely Lucy, Jasari agrees, and soon finds herself downing more of that curious wine. Lucy was so outgoing. So friendly. She found herself opening up to her, sharing many of her adventures with the blonde dancer girl. She was so comfortable in fact, that she wasn't even all that surprised when Lucy's smooth, well cared for hands began to massage and work Jasari's sore, tender shoulders. She chuckled, leaning into the attention. Orihime was dancing once more, and everything about her was that much more enthralling up closer like this. The way the light reflected off of her skin, the small shadow of her navel, the bounce of her enticing breasts. It was certainly a feast for the eyes, and feast Jasari did. She leaned her head against one of her hands, elbow propped up on a chair. Time seemed to slow as she continued watching the pretty dancer. Lucy leaned in, whispering... something Jasari couldn't make out. Whatever it was, it sounded like a good idea. She kept nodding, and listening, and watching, even as her eyelids slowly drifted shut...

==============================================================

The rattling of chains... cold metal on her wrists... giggling, hands on her body. Jasari's eyes shot open. She yelped in surprise, writhing and thrashing to escape whoever was holding her. The shackles above her head however, gave no ground, and held fast. Glancing about frantically, the captured mage observed two individuals, one being Orihime, the other bring Lucy, both of whom were dancers at the Twighlight Respite. Orihime stood behind her, continually caressing her sides, murmuring soft encouragements. Try though she might, Jasari's restraints prevented her from escaping.

Lucy stood in front of the two, fidgeting with some sort of odd magical device. It was a small, dull gemstone on an ornate stand. There was a ring around the gemstone, and Lucy seemed to be rotating it, the ring making clicking sounds as it went. "There!" Lucy said, a triumphant tone ringing in her exclamation. The gemstone began to thrum with strange energy, emitting a gentle pink aura. Jasari felt compelled to stare, to lose herself in the soft, endless pink...

Jasari screwed her eyes shut. She'd faced charm magic before, why was this so much more... powerful? More importantly, how would she escape this? She was far too distracted to rely on her magic; Orihime's caresses were very calming... no, no, focus. The shackles were very tight. Normally, shackles might have a little give; they weren't one-size-fits-all. But these... there was no wiggle room here. A tight grip on her chin shook her from her futile escape planning. Lucy forced her to look in the direction of the strange device, encouraging her with smooth, honeyed words. Jasari did not choose to open her eyelids, rather, they opened of their own accord.

Jasari let out a distressed cry, pink light filling her vision. She was too weak to pull free of Lucy's grip, and... and... she... didn't want to. "That's right, just look into the light for me... No more pesky little thoughts..." The poor half-genie nodded. All these thoughts, racing through her mind, what a stressful way to be. This light was far more... pleasant to think about. So pleasant, seeing as it required very little brainpower at all! Jasari let her limbs go slack, relying on her restraints and her captors to hold her. Orihime giggled in her ear.

"See? Isn't this so much better?"

"Uh huh..." was all the captive mage could manage in reply. The two dancers gleefully continued to squeeze and tease to their hearts' content, smiling as their latest recruit further succumbed to their methods. Jasari was a panting, sweating mess, and these two had only just begun. For many hours, they kept her there, repeating mantras, emphasizing the importance of obedience, submission, and servitude.

"Who are you?" Lucy asked, running a thumb over Jasari's lower lip.

"Jasari Olaphis, a dancer at the Twilight Respite." she replied, stared blankly into the gemstone, her eyes a void of pink light.

"Who do you obey?" Orihime inquired, her arms gently hugging her captive's shapely hips.

"I obey the Master; his every whim is my duty to fulfill."

The dancers giggled, asking in unison. "Do you swear to serve customers to your greatest ability, and to serve the Master twice as well?"

Jasari began to smile. That sounded so good... "I swear." As the words left her lips, a faint pink rune emblazoned itself on Jasari's lower abdomen, before fading from view. And so, with the pact completed, her mind was sealed into that pink haze, never to fully awaken, forever bound to the Master and His will.

"She's ready! Let's take her to see him now!" Orihime said, her body bouncing with delighted excitement. Lucy smirked.

"Not yet... I want just a little more fun while we have her here..."

===================================================================

Cana's trek through the desert had been arduous, from the sun's sweltering oppression to the constant risk of becoming lost among shifting dunes. The journey had proven worthwhile, however, as she had finally arrived at the city closest to where Lucy had gone missing. It had been months since anyone at Fairy Tail had heard from the celestial mage, and Cana was one of the volunteers who had set out in search of her. Cana asked around the city, spending the better part of an hour describing Lucy to passersby. The stranger scratched his head. "Blonde you say? About yay tall, brown eyes, real bubbly and upbeat? I think I saw her... oh, there! Your guild mark! She had one just like it, on her hand! I know beyond a doubt, your friend is working at the Radiant Respite, right here in town!"

A grin spread across Cana's face. "Thank you! I really mean it, I've been so worried about her."

The stranger gave Cana directions, and bade her farewell.

A large man stood guard over the entrance to the club in question. He gave Cana a once-over, a faint but polite smile, and nodded towards the door. Rather than a wooden panel, thick curtains were draped over the entryway. Cana had to half-fight the pesky drapes to get in. The interior was... stunning. The exotic music of these regions occupied the air, mingling with the sounds of cavorting and merrymaking. As the sun outside had just nearly set, Cana knew it would only get busier in this place. The young mage couldn't help but take in the sight of this extravagant club and it's many indulgences. Food, drink, hookah pipes, and serving girls who seemed quite... friendly with their patrons.

The music kicked up in tempo, and some nearby curtains swept open dramatically. Lights from a balcony above were directed to the stage previously hidden from view. Two girls were present there, dressed in revealing cloths and precious metals. On the left was a girl with burnt orange hair, dressed in a silky blue top. From her hips hung a white pelvic curtain, adorned with some kind of blue star.. or, was it a snowflake? The girl on the right wore red hair in a ponytail, her lovely curves concealed by emerald fabrics. The sapphires embedded in the gold accents of her outfit matched her energetic eyes. Flirtatious smiles adorned their faces, the two of them holding a pose while the crowd cheered. Once the initial uproar subsided, they began to dance. Hips swayed from side to side, rocked forward and back. Bellies undulated and rolled while jewelry jingled and glittered under the stage lights. Cana's breath left her. "Radiant" was the right word for this Respite. And... had that guy said Lucy was *working* here?

Someone walked in front of her, breaking her reverie as their shoulder collided with hers. Cana blinked. The stranger began to apologize, but... that was no stranger.

"Lucy?! Oh my gosh!"

===============================================

============================================================

Cana threw her arms around her friend, Lucy. Over their shared years together in the Fairy Tail Wizarding guild, they had grown close. Lucy responded in kind to the embrace. A sigh of relief exited Cana's lungs. "Oh, my gosh! We were all so worried!" Cana said, laughing softly at the end of her sentence. She felt Lucy's head lean into hers, foreheads touching. She couldn't see how glassy Lucy's eyes looked, nor did she notice her friend's far-off tone as she replied.

"It's okay... this place is really nice." The smooth touch of Lucy's hand moved to the small of Cana's back. Cana welcomed her friend's soft touch; the road here had left her body weary, and any relief was a welcome one. She nuzzled Lucy's head affectionately.

"When you didn't return from your quest, a bunch of us set out to find you!" Cana explained. Herself, Natsu, Happy, Gray, and more had all set out along Lucy's last known route, branching off as leads diminished. Later tonight, she'd send word back to the guild hall, and they would recall the other seekers. Upon finishing this thought, she pulled away from Lucy, holding her hands at arms length. The young blonde mage's brow was furrowed in a mild confusion.

"My... quest?"

Cana's expression of relief melted into one of concern. Now that she was getting a better look at Lucy, she could see something was off, like she wasn't present in the moment. Was something wrong? Had something happened? She spoke her next words slowly, gauging Lucy's reaction. "Lucy, you've been gone for months... the guild was worried!"

A spark of recognition. Lucy's head perked up, and awareness seemed to flow into her eyes. Her hand raised to her throat, though Cana wasn't sure why. She failed to notice the small gemstone in Lucy's collar flickering with pink light. Urgency filled her tone. "The guild, I-" Cana watched on, disquieted as Lucy's eyelids fluttered, and her head seemed to drop forward slightly.

"-I don't need to go back to the guild just yet." The urgency was gone. Lucy was once again calm, and somewhat distant. She caught Cana off-guard, shoving her back into a chair. Cana grunted.

"Hey!"

Cana began to stand back up, to protest, but Lucy's normally soft and tender hands gripped her shoulders. Insistent. Forceful. Cana gazed with fear into Lucy's half-lidded eyes, her irises now swimming with faint pink light. "No, no... shh.." her friend whispered, climbing into her lap. Cana was now aware of just how scantily-clad Lucy was. What was she doing in this tavern? Was she working as some sort of dancer? Why... why was it getting hot all of a sudden?

Lucy smirked with confidence, sitting upright so as to give Cana an ample view of her sensual form. "Let me show you why I've stayed her for so long..." she murmured, her voice poisoned with lust.

======================================================

============================================================

Cana froze as Lucy pushed her further back into her seat. The blonde mage's breasts pressed against hers, with only thin layers of fabric to separate them. Cana had been in plenty of dangerous situations, odd ones too, but... what was this? Lucy seemed to be under some kind of influence, but she wasn't attacking. She was just... grinding... Pressing her body against Cana's at every angle available to her.

Lucy pulled back with a giggle, gently taking her friend's chin in her fingers. She lifted Cana's gaze to meet her own. Cana took note of the faint pink energy radiating from Lucy's eyes. It didn't alarm her, though she felt it should have. Instead, she stared, her arms dropping to her sides and her shoulders slouching. Lucy was so pretty, especially her eyes. Cana could feel the weight of her travels beginning to weigh her down. Surely she could rest for a moment while her friend entertained her.

Lucy smiled as Cana's eyes began to glaze over, filling with the same pink light that was in her own. Her hips continued to gyrate, rubbing against Cana's lap as her legs spread, and her torso leaned back into the comfort of the chair she was in. She bounced her full breasts before her friend's enthralled eyes. She then gripped the brunette's shoulders and pulled her forward into a light kiss. Both girls moaned softly, the dance of their lips deepening into greater intimacy. When Lucy finally broke the kiss, she saw Cana's face, flushed red.

The two sat panting for a moment. "There, better." Lucy cooed, still leaning heavily against Cana.

"Y-yeah, much better." Cana replied in a haze.

Several minutes go by, finding Lucy leading Cana down a staircase, away from the hustle and bustle of the tavern above. "Come on! I want to show you something!" Lucy beckoned, pulling her hypnotized friend along by the hand.

"Where are we going?" Cana asked, her steps clumsy and uneven.

Lucy giggled, "It's a surprise! I promise, you're gonna love it!"

Cana found herself catching the contagious giggles. "Oh... what is it?" She wondered aloud, more to herself than Lucy.

The door at the bottom of the stairs likely held the answer.

============================================================

========================================================================

Cana groaned and tugged at the chains that held her wrists over her head. She felt so weak. A sigh passed by her lips as her gaze returned to the red jewel before her. An ethereal red light accompanied by a low hum occupied her senses. Beads of sweat rolled down her creamy skin. The memory of where she was, who captured her, it was all... fuzzy. The gem pulsed again, and she shivered. Her naked features were cast in the red glow beautiful gem. It really was a sight to behold.

No... that wasn't right. She should be trying to escape! Cana shook her head. Lucy! Lucy needed her! And who knows how many other girls were being held here. With her mind focused, Cana began to draw on her magic, and... she moaned. The power within her shimmered like a faint golden nimbus, only to be pulled from her body and consumed by the jewel. With its glow intensified, Cana realized the true peril of the gem. She needed to look away from the gem, that was it. She would look away, and then find something to pick the lock on her shackles. She would look away.

She would... look...

It held her there, transfixed in crimson bliss. She stirred some time later. Her eyelids ached from staring for so long. Her head pounded with confusion, with new information. "How long... how long have I...?" The stone's red light seemed to answer. Always. Forever. There was little else besides the tavern, and Cana knew it to be true. Watching the gem eased the pain in her sore, bound limbs. It eased the worries of her heart and her soul.

"Oh... it's so pretty... I think I understand, now."

The following day, the tavern's newest dancer took the stage. Cloth swirled, and jewelry clinked as she swayed to the music. Her glassy gaze was suffused with the gem's crimson glow. This was where she belonged, her body a glorious display for all to admire and enjoy. The grin on her face only widened as her hips gyrated, patrons cheering her on. She followed the steps that Lucy, and that other red-haired dancer had given her. She was beautiful, and everybody loved her. This was all she was. And it was all she needed.
