The male MC is _sort of_ the same throughout — it's intended to be the male version of "Anata", the club manager and protagonist of the School Idol Festival All Stars game (and the upcoming Nijigasaki visual novel, "TOKIMEKI Roadmap to Future"). The trouble is that the anime adapted that character into Yu Takasaki, who was the one in that last short, so there's no male design for people to stick to.
