To be fair Tashiigi is what Kuina killed herself to avoid being, a woman of talent but not nearly enough to achieve her dream. Still think that Kuina would
reject having a devil fruit on principal.

Story wise the only thing she could do would be to help Smoker (and reformist marines like him) to move up the ranks. However One Piece is a shonen manga
so the story is focued on fights which Tashiigi will never have an important one. Maybe a team fight with some of the other women against some big bad.
