the largest API models from anthropic google or openai are fairly cheap if you end up not finding any. i tend to use them to translate books scanlation groups either haven't caught up on or dont translate at all

while AI models are a "easy" method of translation.
They just don't really do a good job. They work nicely on simple and short phases but for niece bits it's just gonna get it wrong.

Real translating by Translators are still the best and is likely what Nexstat and other creators actually want to give their work proper translation and prevent the meaning of their work to be lost.

Yeah I'd rather pay someone properly for a good translation than cheap out with AI or whatever method like that, as well as I'd like someone who can then also apply the translations TO the comics.
