@Azura Meta: Only if the other harem members are each stolen by different people. If you're going to completely disassemble a dense MC's harem, don't just make it end up just another harem. They need to be taken by someone who will give each girl their entire focus, something that a harem protagonist - by definition - cannot.

Don't get me wrong though, I enjoy (most) harem tropes just fine. I grew up on Tenchi Muyo, after all. But that also means I consider the "marry them all" solution to be the bare minimum, figurative or literal, and anything less than that isn't a "true" harem story. Because if the protagonist only reciprocates the affection of one girl (or even none, just to maintain the status-quo), then it isn't really a harem. And that's definitely the kind of story this manga is lampooning, which I certainly appreciate.

Same chip about harems btw, but different reasons. A harem is an absurd, near fantasy, situation, so it deserves an absurd near fantasy ending (marry them all). Its bizarre to me that all these people write these outlandish fantasies, but feel compelled to bring them back to reality at the end.
