Since Lyra is from there as well, and I guess Bon Bon is from there as well in this comic, or at she appears to have been dispatched to Ponyville at the same time as Lyra. Who knows, maybe Bon Bon was just the squire of Ponyville, and Lyra was dispatched and they were just doing their patrol shift together. In any case, since Lyra is from Canterlot as well, she would have heard of the rumors. Although, thinking about it, Bon Bon didn't look to have the same reaction as Lyra, so she's probably not from Canterlot.

That's just the way a lot of these porn comics go: you either finish early enough to become a one shot, or you live long enough to become a story. But in more serious terms, if a comic's plot and story are just for the characters to have sex, then they'll always be having sex to your heart's content. If the main plot is on an actual story with sex on top, then sure, it'll probably have a lot of sex in the earlier parts of the comic. But as the drama and tension escalate, the sex and frivolity have to take a back seat. Often, what will end up happening is that, as the author continues the story, they'll add more and more plot threads to the story. And it sure is hard to make an emotional scene if all the characters are just having sex the whole time. That's not to say it can't be done. Rance's sex scene in Quest with Suzume is a perfect example

On one hand, flipping the soft child friendly magic system of the original series is not the craziest idea. On the other hand, I have a soft spot for world building where magic as a primordial force that will fuck you up with one wrong syllable. Magic should be more interesting and dangerous, otherwise it is just a lot like tech with less chromes. Glad the author also writing a snake getting serious dicking from a panda, otherwise all that erotic writing talent would be getting wasted.

As nice as a fight would be here, I hope CBT keeps the interactions from the show. The part where each of the girls showed off their element of harmony and helped Twilight understand how important each of their own strengths is by the time of the confrontation with Luna. It would likely need to be modified to fit the current storyline, sure, but keeping to the same story beats as the show would help it be an alternate retelling of the story.
