Tbh, this is my opinion: It's fair race for anyone who complete a gallery that's on going. Whoever complete his gallery first, his gallery won't be expunged, the other will be.
I am not too strict on gallery having that some bonus, or some extras (as only as acceptable amount). I don't like a gallery with some bonus, extras, even wip page(s) was considered more complete than a gallery that just has the main contents. You were might being wondered why i know it. Believe me, i was a victim of this incident and whom did it to me is no one else but this "many faces one", here !. I had to upload entire wip pages and shouting out his name in that gallery.
