But in NTR the childhood friend would almost never act to rescue her and even when he does, he never manages to succeed in doing so. In this the MC didn't just stand around clenching his fist and crying with a boner, he was an actual character. In a NTR the girlfriend would get mad at the MC, slap him, never forgive him and decry the proof as fake somehow and run to her boyfriend to be soiled.
