I don't know if you even researched mythology or any other forms of literature, brother, but honestly, seeing Kratos the monster finally begin picking the pieces back up again was probably the best thing I've seen from the series.
Remember, the entirety of Greek myths is ultimately one tragedy after another beneath what is functionally a dysfunctional family that, in God of War 3 at least, finally blew up on itself. The fact that Kratos is able to see that and then make every effort possible to NOT be that towards his new son, and then the rest of the people he ends up connecting with, is the best decision to take his character and the story as a whole in.
I had to speak about this, if only because this feels like disrespecting everything Kratos has been through and what the games have to say about not just Greek myths, but even the very premise of prophecies and how these stories endure, repeat, and ultimately, NEED to change if they want to last.
