Hana Hook is actually a mom in real life. She tried to break into mainstream with the manga Bamora! but unfortunately it was cancelled. I think that really hurt her emotionally. Not to mention that she's been drawing for a long time so her kid is probably a young adult by now, so If I had to guess she probably has put her family and other life experiences ahead of her hentai career. She probably still draws, but I think it's more of a hobby for her now.

*btw, for those curious about the info, she used to have a blog for awhile. I can't read Japanese but I found another blog that was translating her stuff. Unfortunately both were taken down and I eventually forgot their names (one of them was on blogspot).
