@ilookfat: Thanks, and I agree, actually. I like to include a small horror element where I feel it's appropriate, and often that means pushing the body modification a bit over the edge. If I was the protagonist, I would have stopped on panel 18 too - I hope. But sometimes these things achieve their own momentum.
