To be more specific, credit card companies are threatening to remove their support over people purchasing nsfw content specific genre's using their services which has been forcing the companies that rely on them to comply and remove such services when possible. Patreon, Paypal, Ko-Fi, Pixiv are more well known examines but the issues getting worse and affecting more online marketplaces too. Pretty sure they hit Steam recently and Steam was forced to remove a lot of games recently to comply. Wildest one is then forcing Fansly to ban all furry content.

It's really dumb and feels like a massive overreach. It's not like there's really any alternatives either.
