Jp has big part on respect and hierarchy to other so all those -san -sama -whatever to change to just name is big change in people/character interaction.

Normal people using -san after name for normal respect. When calling other just by name, it would be either very close (we have no need for social norm, we are very close) or very disrespectful (no respect for you so no -suffix)

So in media when a character change the way they talks about/with other character, it shows their relationship dynamic.

This story, in raw the dude keep calling her "name+mama" and when climax he even switched to just "mama" clearly the vibe the author wanted to create is a wanna be mother fucker.

But this translation removed all the mama, made him calls her by name only, turn this to just a normal dude fuck older woman. Should have keep him calling her "maki-mama" or "mama" like in raw to show how the dude feeling toward her, like a mother, like he's wanting to fuck his mother like how the author want to portray him. Not just a casual young dude fucking a widow woman.

I've never understood this push to keep things like san/sama/senpai in translations - those things should be translated to english like the rest of the text. Maki-san or Maki-sama should pretty clearly become "Mrs Maki" or "Mrs Fukazawa" or even just "Miss". As a native english speaker and degenerate hentai reader of 25 years, I have NEVER heard or heard of an actual japanese person come to the west, speak english, and then use honorifics while speaking english.

As for the removal of "Mama" from this thing, I never read the original so I don't know, but it seems like such a removal would constitute tagging this with the rewrite tag. I hate incest so the removal was a total win for me, but fundamentally changing the story without adding a tag is obviously wrong.
