Which program would you recommend? I've been using MMCE for decades and it's getting long in the tooth but I still haven't found a replacement that's as flexible yet.

OpenComic fits my needs perfectly. I'm using Windows 11 right now and iirc, I made some modifications to the Registry to add an option to the Windows context menu to be able to directly open folders in OpenComic with right-click. OpenComic also can read epub and cbz, and has multiple reading settings. I just use Adobe Acrobat Reader for pdfs though
