314 An IMMENSE amount of time and effort went into this, countless resources, enough to fund many great works and deeds were consumed. The Great wall? The Eiffel Tower? The Manhattan Project, the Internet? The Space Station? All pale in comparison to this. My own involvement in this great undertaking might have been minimal, but it still puts me in the company of an elite few throughout all of history. I'm now a modern contemporary of the greats, Alexander the Great, Genghis Kahn, The Buddha, Einstein, Curie, FDR, Galileo, Marco Polo, Hammurabi, Moses, Julius Caesar, The Duke of Wellington, and more.
