As someone who's nonbinary, It's annoying because no one ever introduces themselves like that, followed by asking for a hug from a STRANGER in a closed relationship while you're naked, rock hard and dripping, and they're embarrassed about just getting caught having risky public sex.
Followed by jacking off in front of the couple... Straight up sexual harassment, Harvey Weinstein style.

"Annoying because nobody introduces themselves like that". Asking for someone else's pronouns first isn't a lead in? I ask for people's pronouns constantly and usually get asked what mine are in return, especially at furcons with a bunch of nonbinary people. I also have several NB readers who appreciated the way it was handled. I don't know what kind of experience you're bringing to the table, but it doesn't sound like it mirrors mine in the broader queer furry space at all.

Perry has report with Abe in particular. It's massively implied that they have had sex with Abe before. I think the fact that Perry *asked* to hug Basil and was rejected and backed off shows more boundary respecting than anything. Also, Perry didn't masturbate in front of them. They said that they would after they left.

As the author and someone who has been sexually harassed / assaulted multiple times this wasn't pushing those buttons for me when I wrote it. I think you're being overtly sensitive and really projecting a lot of negativity onto the scene when there really isn't any. Honestly, it's just a goofy scene. If you choose to take it more seriously than I intended, that's fine -- but I do think you're in the vast minority in feeling this way.
