Hm, I've certainly seen worse TLs but this is obviously mostly if not completely machine TLed. Certainly better than nothing since I'm not that great with kanji so I was only able to read a little of this before.

As long as I can get a little online assistance with the kanji, I can make a good translation, the main problems are that I need a good and reliable method to accurately capture the text that is not too time consuming or difficult. That and I also don't really know how to edit in the translation back into the image since I've never done anything like that.

So far the best method that's worked for me is the Translator++ program since it captures all the text, can either quickly machine translate everything or give you the option to input your own more natural translation and then input it back in for you. The main problem is that the program only works with games like RPG Maker, not images so I've only been able to translate some games I've bought or gotten off FanBox.

It takes some time though since to make something good, you have to individually edit each machine translated line of text. You don't realize how MUCH text a game has until you have to go through every line. My first real project was doing the one game the awesome 痛イム / STOP SHOP made about 7 years ago (https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/71403436 and https://www.dmm.co.jp/dc/doujin/-/detail/=/cid=d_138880/). The CG for it was posted here over 2 1/2 years ago here: https://e-hentai.org/g/2466057/2a481d76d0/ It's not even an especially big game but it still took me a week and I've still got some typos and grammar to correct in a V2.

Even if I don't include the couple dozen works from 痛イム / STOP SHOP, I've got hundreds of Time Stop and Mind Control manga that I've bought and/or downloaded over the many years but don't know how to translate and release them on my own. Especially works that use a more hand written style of text. It's hard to read those and most scanning programs have difficulty with them. I've recently found a free Google Translate app for my phone that is decent on reading that style but the translation is so-so at best and it doesn't actually capture the text or enable sending it to be more accurately read, edited and translated. Any advice on this would be very appreciated.

Anyway, I'm enjoying this series though I wish there was some more use of the "Stop" (Time Stop) button. Some more obvious use of mind control beyond the changing of common sense would be great too.

As much as I can understand the complaints, sadly when it comes to: Niche authors, niche fetishes like time stop, and minimalist art styles, you'd be hard pressed to find a good translator who would translate this on their off time when in fact they're already busy with main stream titles and authors who make big effort in their art, from their commissions.

Pro translators need to make money so they have no choice but to go for the more popular titles/authors and main stream fetishes.

With the amount of complaining comments and votes those get, of each of those persons even gives .50 cents they would be able to hire a top translator for titles like these. Sadly reality isn't as simple as that.

So complain all you want, but AI translations from people who are too lazy to proofread is all we can get right now because its a lot easier and cheaper than trying to get a hold of expensive and busy translators.

@Otaku_Man_84 Google docs is surprisingly good at picking up characters.
Alternately, if you are able to understand everything but the kanji, you are probably already good enough that you could start translating them hardstyle with a dictionary, like Jisho.

@otaku_man_84 I do the same thing with Chinese and it hard I just resorted to reading until I found a world I didn't know and going through a dictnary to find it then just memorizeing it and it is not easy so don't give up and having someone at least proofread it is better than nothing and I thank you for that as well that I just use gimp to put the text on panels as just deleteing the foreign language text then add then scaling the English text to fill the space works most of the time except for the few that don't in which I spend maybe half an hour using my highschool art classes to make it look good and leave it at that but good luck and keep up the good work.
