Great art, love the anal vore, but full disclosure with no hostility, the trans arc did feel weird and out of place. I'd be fine with it if it was organic, but it just... wasn't. A guy spending a few days inside someone's ass suddenly feeling like a woman and now he's a they, it's just awkward and makes no sense, doesn't fit the genre and expected content either. Strange move. A lot more so than Lewdua's strange pregnancy arc. Would have been much better as a separate story. It felt like cheap fanservice or uncalled-for token diversity representation.

I expected the twist would be that he actually wants to be digested, or just felt so safe inside her he doesn't wanna face the world again, both of which would have felt organic imo and play on related tropes, instead of shoehorning in something completely unrelated through a plain exposition dump no less.

@aladin112 I mean, kinda fair. I certainly didn't expect it to go in that direction either. However, this is an origin comic to the character that Starcross created a decade ago. We don't know exactly how the powers work & we also don't really know that guy either. Considering he's an obvious bottom who loves taking dick, maybe he felt gender dysphoria beforehand or being in Sarah's gut made him feel a certain way, or something. Sarah's finding out how her powers work as we do. Whether you consider that a copout so Starcross can do whatever with the powers, or if it makes sense, I can't fault you. I DO think that it separates this comic from other vore comics & is more of a subversion of expectations. Maybe Starcross will do something like that in the future, but we'll see.

I can't speak for everyone else, but I am sick and tired of stories constantly trying to "subvert" people's expectation. In fact, in an environment where EVERYTHING that exists is a "subversion", the most subversive thing to actually would be to play it straight. Because it's something that you're not expecting, and that is exactly what a subversion is.
