Acquired from Yahoo Japan Auctions as to have some early clarity on this group in particular as I've already uploaded/documented vol. 6: https://e-hentai.org/g/3173184/e363e1e1f9/
Many of these were in their original bags and had never been opened from the particular sale, but upon reading this one, I was impressed with its organization and the themes present. Mother Town, in this sense, refers to the port city in Iscandar's ocean, though is a somewhat ambiguous reference to the group itself. The artists and organizers, while mysterious, appear to have been college age Yamato fans. This particular issue was published April 4th of 1978, seven months before Farewell, Space Battleship Yamato was ever released. This particular issue doesn't seem to have made it to Comiket.
