A turning point for Ueno. How will his character "develop"? He failed to detect the threat in the previous chapter, cordially greeting the guy whose presence alone left Manaka in obvious distress, and now his mind got nuked by this sudden move on top of the already present layers of ambivalent emotional doubt and uneasy sense of self-esteem. To make things worse, the panelling goes out of its way to show Ueno noticing that Manaka isn't just getting a kiss stolen, but she's letting her tongue go along rather than retracting it. Then she only pushes the ex away, not because he tried, not because it happened, not because Ueno is right there, but only when Chisaki caught the situation. Though to be the devil's advocate, it could be that she was just as startled and mentally paralized that she auto-piloted the situation until Chisaki sounded the alarm.

@dimanganime Excellent read on the situation. Ueno hasn't developed the situational awareness while Chisaki has stepped up despite Moka being her love rival.
