Junip was far more laid back in the Crossing that Bridge comic than here. This story is from Casper's point of view, and he's far more introverted and serious, so I think he can't help but see Junip in an exaggerated way, he's annoyed because of that, so he sees Junip in an even more exaggerated way, then gets more annoyed, and so on. In any case, these two will probably reconcile soon xD.

Everyone has different boundaries. The first man I slept with was a trans guy who liked being eaten out and rubbed but not fingered. Gender dysphoria is a personal experience, and asking and establishing clear consent and boundaries is very important.

Being trans simply means your gender identity and your assigned gender at birth (AGAB) are different. It doesn't necessarily imply transitioning, medically or socially. Identity, in its whole, is complex and messy, and different people feel and express it differently. Don't try to identify patterns or rules, just listen to what people tell you about their own identity and respect it.

Gender dysphoria was first coined by psychologists and is currently codified in the DSM-5, but it also found a broader use outside of its medical roots. To put it simply: dysphoria is the opposite of euphoria. It refers to having strong and notable negative emotions, such as sadness, anger, anxiety... It can appear as a symptom of many other affections, such as depression, anxiety, schizophrenia... Gender dysphoria, in its APA definition, refers specifically to the dysphoria caused by one's AGAB, when it differs from one's gender identity (to sum it up a LOT). As any other mental affection, gender dysphoria will vary a lot from individual to individual, and things that may not be a big deal to someone, or even be pleasant to them, may be a major dysphoria trigger to someone else.

That being said, the APA in general and the DSM-5 in particular are far from being perfect, and a strict, rigid definition, particularly one established for diagnostics purposes, such as in the DSM, will always fail to cover neatly every individual experience. A lot of countries where social and medical transitions are legal will require that people prove they suffer from gender dysphoria and that the transition is a medical necessity, but it's 1) not an experience every trans people will go through and 2) not an experience exclusive to trans people. As I said, identity is messy, and even cis people may experience feelings akin to gender dysphoria, without necessarily meeting the diagnostics criterias listed in the DSM-5 for it. Again, don't try to establish rigid rules around those words, a lot of them have been reclaimed or created for the purpose of giving people a vocabulary to talk about their experiences. Quibbling and nitpicking over strict definitions is, at best, counterproductive, and at worst, insulting and invalidating for people who found meaning and community through this new vocabulary.
