Takuo has been observing Himeko from afar, he likes that fiesty gyaru and recently they have gotten friendlier, specially since Himeko has been getting into heated arguments with her boyfriend more frequently. Takuo has the little lone hope that maybe Himeko and he will become even closer someday, despite his friends trying to ground him to reality; however, Himeko's boyfriend gets madder, he had enough of Himeko ghosting him and suspects she was cheating on him with the glasses twerp, Himeko denies it but her boyfriend feels she needs some correction pronto. Takuo watched that as the reality that there's an immense barrier between him and Himeko kicks in.

In the end Himeko and her BF kept their ongoing rift, and Himeko just falls to the advance of one her mates who forced himself on her knowing she is on the edge with her boyfriend, and later Tanabe a new teacher who was helping Himeko with her studies felt they became closer enough for him to ask her out, Himeko barely tries to refuse saying she is her student, but Tanabe insisted and Himeko easily caves in. As Himeko's boyfriend barges in the classroom asking where Himeko is, Takuo can only think about how the recent events didn't end up bringing Himeko closer to him, but now she feels farther than ever before, fearing he will lose her for good.

So yeah, Takuo got BSS'd and Himeko's boyfriend got Netorare'd, combo wombo; Himeko didn't run for Takuo's embrace but for two randos instead, she was never meant to be Takuo's princess, she is an easy slut.
