I'm so confused by this third volume. It's such a weird cluster of contradictions. Like there were things that Agu did that were super lazy and then other times where he clearly poured shit tons of work into it. And then the story at times is way grim but then goes absolutely goofy.

IE, He wrote a ton (too much. reading this thing was freaking exhausting. 2800+ pages could've easily been cut down to 400 or less without losing any story beats). Still, he clearly put a lot of work into that aspect.
But I only managed to count 21 unique images (plus some changes to layers for some variety) which comes out to a reader getting a new image for every 130 or so pages of reading, which feels pretty lazy.
BUT Agu's art has gotten so freaking good, and each image by itself is so crazy detailed. Even the silhouette pieces are pretty damn well done. He clearly grinds like crazy on each individual piece.
BUUUT then there are cases where the text boxes describe a sexual situation the characters are in (Makoto being made to suck the dick of the mastermind), and Agu just slid their PNGs closer together, which is down to One Punch Man season 3 levels of lazy.

Then the story. One second it's super dark with human trafficking, drugs, babies literally threatened to be crushed under what's essentially a hydraulic press if their mother doesn't sexually submit. But then we're reminded that none of it actually matters because we live in goofy cartoon land where a woman with thirty pounds of titty meat hanging off her chest can flashstep behind the bad guys and hit 'em with the ol' "you are already dead", or one unarmed dude can Bruce Leroy his way through an entire room of hardened cartel members, completely eliminating the threat that was built up for the last 1500+ pages. Just major whiplash.

Overall, I enjoyed it. Agu is just such a talented artist, seriously crazy how quickly he's evolved over the course of just a couple years. It's also nice to have an H-artist still trying to tell a thought out, connected story. Plus, as someone else said, Makoto's design is just toppers. No one draws heavy gigatits like Agu. Just personally wish he could trim a lot of the fat off his story and settle on the tone he really wants to stick with. Might also be nice if Makoto could fuck someone every now and then who doesn't look like he's collecting chromosomes like Pokemon. Looking forward to part 5, and thanks for the TL.
