Honestly, I get where the detractors of this comic are coming from. I don’t care much for necro stuff and usually minus the tag, but I was certainly pleasantly surprised at first by this series and kept coming back for more! But as I said, I am starting to agree more with its detractors than its supporters, in that while the narrative is splendid, the major beats of the porn scenes feels a little cyclical and lacking creativity. It’s supposed to shock me with the gore and snuff, and yet by the time the fire lady died I just kind of groaned and went “figures”. I only hope that this comic leans into its narrative strengths and keeps feeding us tidbits while leaving us wanting more through its narrative strength, a la [Groz] Warden (I don’t even masturbate to that comic anymore, I’m just fascinated by the story), rather than make us facepalm and ultimately grow bored by overcommiting to its own tropes a la [The Black Pharaoh] Forsaken Souls.

I'm afraid you might not find what you're looking for here. I thought the first few chapters would hammer in enough we're looking at an extremely cyclical "monstergirl of the week" series. It's first and foremost a way for me to explore extremely specific dynamics and niche kinks, so I have almost everything planned around the sex scenes themselves. Gore isn't here for the shock factor, it never was.
This doesn't mean I don't have a setting I'd like to show and a story to get to, and I do hope the comic will be worth checking out at some point just for those - but it's going to be quite a slow burn and the main themes may never go away. For a long time the idea people would actually read it for the plot was only a good joke for me. Unfortunately it did happen, and much faster than I'd like. It's probably my fault for not communicating the premise correctly - but I never expected people who are not up for this ride would read past the 3rd chapter.

I'm actually thinking a lot about making a font version at some point, but atm for consistency (and for whatever reason, most of the readers preference - checked in with who I could reach on twitter) I'll keep the handwriting. Not gonna lie, time constraints are a big cause for that right now, so I'm just going with what feels fastest and most comfortable.

Backgrounds are absolutely the bane of my existence, hoping things will be getting better in that department. Can't run from it forever, after all. There will be a bit of a change of enviroment in the next chapters, so I hope to try some different methods.

BlindWildcat: I kind of figured what you were doing after the second or third chapter. Frankly, I don't mind: whether it was repetitive to "please the peanut gallery" or not (as this IS e-hentai), I like the development of the Gravekeeper and Ifrit through each further interaction (which I thought was the main point). I am glad that Zerka (Ber-zerka?) seems to be a survivor, and I like how (p.171) Gravekeeper realized that if she went back, she would see her sister's cum drenched boobs (how embarrassing!), so he is going to do "the noble thing" and bury her friends. So it is nice to see some dark humor mixed in with everything else. I also like little things like on p.141, with Infrit hiding right below Gravekeeper's body.

I also really liked the chapter with the Firestarter, and the reasons Ingrit NEEDED to kill her.

I could go either way with a font for the speech bubbles, though I do like coloring them so it is easy to tell who is saying what.

Overall, Evil job! Keep up the evil work!

this series is amazing, please keep up the good work. my only personal gripe is with the constant denial the gravekeeper faces, but i understand that that's part of his relationship with ifrit and it is good for the story, i just like the idea that demons would encourage depravity instead of measuring it. but that's very minor, ifrit constantly doing that is also a show of her power over him and she kinda just teases him to insanity to the point he ends up getting used to doing horrible things and not caring anymore. i guess i had hoped that once he became eager to she'd revel in his increased openness towards depravity, but again, i don't think this is out of character or anything.

not writing any of this to ask you to change the story, i wouldn't expect you to even if that's what i wanted. just felt like sharing the thoughts of a random reader. keep up the awesome work please, it's really rare to find something with kinks this niche that has actual substance to it. and the monster of the week format is lovely, half the people complaining about it probably play genshin impact or something. buncha hypocrites.

@FarkyMac Thank you for your comments. I hoped most of it will be clear enough in the comic itself but it won't hurt to recap and confirm some stuff.

According to Ifrit, seperating the soul from the body is easier after person gives up on it - rape torture, humiliation makes the process far easier and faster, but it's not absolutely necessary. Fire wielding victim in chapter VI uses the same energies, extracting them in very different way. Everything Ifrit creates uses them as well. Including the sword you've asked about - it's created by her on the spot, and it's "flimsiness" comes from rushed process. She could in theory spend days if not weeks putting it together making sure it's composition is as close as possible to a traditonally made weapon, or just throw some matter together focusing on the most important parts.

All the necrophilic activities are there purely for the purpose of her games with Gravekeeper, "rewarding" him according to his deepest fetishes and fears.

Yes, Ifrit is picking out specific targets - for now we can call it adding varied creatures to her "collection". It's both about the variety and convenience (mostly how easy it would be to coax Gravekeeper into playing his part). So far there were only two exceptions - first victim that actually was a random person they just stumbled upon, and the fire mage that she sought for different reason,

The sword. Maybe the word flimsy is not the best - I'm not a native speaker so not everything might be coming across as I intended. The whole idea is that she is able to make anything - but actually keeping the correct composition and form takes a lot of time and attention. She can create it faster, skipping most of the process - but it will be less durable, or in some cases not functional at all. Just like a cast sword or one cut out of a random sheet of metal won't be as durable as a weapon made by a blacksmith.

Just wanted to drop a comment to say I really like this. I love the idea of her being a floaty demon, and you take full advantage of it- she's always in really fun and creative poses, and you use her feet a lot in scenes which gets me like MMMMMM very nice

The amount of world building you cram in is also seriously impressive. The scene where he fucks the fire woman and they talk about how magic works and stuff was super interesting- so magic is based on imagination, and the fire chick just assumed she could only make fire, never trying to make something else? That's a really interesting magic system, like anything is possible.
I also love that the main characters don't feel too strong, even though it's obvious the demon will never die, and she'll never let the Gravekeeper die unless she gets bored of him/he does something she disagrees with.

Finally, just like others have said, I love that the demon is actually evil. The end of the Zerka chapter, where you confirm that she would kill teh Gravekeeper and Zerka if he tried to leave with Zerka, was a very well done but grim reminder of just how much danger the Gravekeeper is in. The demon is a horribly manipulative character, but that's actually a really fresh take nowadays, and given you're willing to not hold back and have rape/necrophilia etc. makes the danger feel more real, like every comic feels like anything can happen. 5/5!
