Hey All, welcome to Bartoon's Recurve! This is a future world where plastic poisoning has caused the population to become 90% men. After a global war, a pacification and new government establishment, science created a medical breakthrough! They could fix the population imbalance! The plan is to roll-out to the entire world, but first, they need to propogandize everyone. And the gov found their mascot in Layton/Laysee!

This is the first half of the first chapter. I'll post the rest of this chapter here in a couple weeks. I'm de-canonizing my prior chapter 1 based on feedback from the community.

page 10 : Woah there, mister ! I think your helmet is haunted !

page 23 : So far we had the dialogues without bubbles, colored letters with black borders, and all of a sudden they add white bubbles ! The contrast set me off ! Then at page 31 it's back without the bubbles, then next page it's bubbles without black bordered letters, then back without bubbles again ! A bit confusing !

page 33 to 34 : Then think of this as your down payment *clock* Then think of this as your down payment. Woops, record is scratched, here...

page 36 : "Jessica was shocked [...] They never had proper sex until now !" ... guess putting it in in the first pages doesn't count ...

Okay, my suspension of disbelief is broken. Too much inconsistency. I'm out.

Hey @aeroplume72. I'll probably go back thru and edit this chapter after I release chapter 2. I've improved my workflow so these inconsistencies aren't as terrible. And I've learned how to use word bubbles. You can actually see a lot of the improvements in the Christmas episode. But even from the Christmas episode I learned more ways to improve! So chapter 2 should be an even better improvement!

I just need to set aside a few hours to edit but I don't want it impeding chapter 2 or 3s progress (or the new comic Runway Prince or the game). I think you'll see a dramatic improvement in the coming chapters.

An example of the improved workflow is I was doing all this directly in Photoshop. Now, I've written out the entire story pages in a word doc. I include the text everyone is saying. And I use that to ensure the story is consistent. It's quite hard to manage 50 files.
