Acquired so that they can't be gatekept anymore, simple as. I now own the entirety of the program books as well as all associated flyers, notebooks and book cases. I'll be uploading them all naturally, there are about 20 or so items all together. This particular book covers the actual doujinshi circles and members who participated at Daicon IV - do not be fooled by other accounts. Lolicon was very much present in a subculture sense due to Hideo Azuma's participation among Hirukogami Ken's influence. Minor Boy participated at Daicon IV alongside Aran Rei and many others. SF and Lolicon share a history! There are also mentions of an erotic Macross parody group and even a BL/Yaoi SF group. Only a bit of official Daicon IV merch is shown, but there are several fakes on the market - if you own any of the items shown in the first pages, you now have access to some rare items.

Its important to understand that SF was more than just the inclusionary elements of anime at the time and that this convention had been around since the early 1960s - all manners of SF enjoyers, including fantasy and more, were invited and came to participate.
